ADD BATTERY: +£4,000-£6,000 for 5-10kWh. COST PER kW: £1,200-£1,800 (decreases with larger systems). COST INCLUDES: panels, inverter, mounting, wiring, scaffolding, DNO notification, MCS certification. DOES NOT INCLUDE: battery (optional), EV charger (optional), roof repairs (if needed). These prices are 90% cheaper than 2010 and have stabilised since 2023.
