You can control your solar system with Amazon Alexa: (1) GIVENERGY — official Alexa skill. Ask: 'Alexa, how much solar am I generating?' Get: real-time generation, battery level, grid import/export. (2) MYENERGI — Alexa integration for Zappi (EV charger) and Eddi (diverter). Ask: 'Alexa, start charging my car.' (3) SMART PLUGS — control any appliance by voice. 'Alexa, turn on the washing machine' when solar is peaking. (4) ROUTINES — automate actions: 'When I say good morning, show me today's solar forecast.' What Alexa CAN'T do: directly control your inverter settings or override grid connection. For that, use the manufacturer's app. Alexa adds convenience, not essential functionality.
