South-East Facing Solar

Is a south-east roof good for solar?
A south-east facing roof is excellent for solar: OUTPUT: 95% of a due-south roof. ADVANTAGE: earlier morning generation (peak 9am-1pm instead of 11am-2pm). Better for: (1) Morning routines — kettle, toaster, hair dryer all from solar. (2) Home workers starting at 9am. (3) Running the washing machine/dishwasher mid-morning. (4) Battery charging starts earlier (battery full by 1pm instead of 3pm). A 4kW south-east system: 3,325-3,990 kWh/yr. Savings: £550-£1,050/yr. Virtually identical to south-west — both are excellent orientations. DO NOT let anyone tell you a SE roof is 'unsuitable' for solar.
