Do solar panels affect cat flaps?

Solar panels have absolutely ZERO effect on cat flaps — microchip, magnetic, or manual. Your solar inverter produces no electromagnetic interference that could confuse microchip readers. The panels are on the roof; the cat flap is in the door or wall. They operate independently. Your cat will be completely unaware that you have solar panels.
