What happens during solar installation?

Complete UK solar installation: Day 0: Scaffolding erected (2-4 hrs). Day 1: Roof hooks bolted to rafters → tiles replaced → mounting rails attached → panels secured → DC wiring connected (6-8 hrs). Day 2: Inverter mounted → DC cables connected → AC connection to consumer unit → testing → commissioning → monitoring setup (4-6 hrs). Day 2-3: Scaffolding removed. Post-install: MCS certificate (2 weeks) → SEG registration → insurer notification. Total: 1-2 days physical work. You need to: be available for consumer unit access + provide WiFi password.
